Session Three

 "From Farm to Supermarket" 

I struggled to find any information or previous Info Graphics on this topic, this suggested that most companies did not want us to know what there Food Miles were. Eventually i found a site with some information on which was the stats i used when creating my Info Graphic. 

I created my info graphics with the mind set of simply breaking down the information and displaying clearly the distances in which the different types of foods travelled. The stats i found were as followed : 

Apple’s – 1,555

Carrots – 1,774

Potatoes – 1,239

Pumpkins – 233

Strawberries – 1,093

Tomatoes – 1,369 
Chicken – 2,870
